September 28, 2011 meeting of Minister of Education, Youth and Sport Dmitry Tabachnik with Deputy General Designer, Head of Science and Technology Center Rocket-Space Corporation "Energia" named after Sergei Korolev Alexander Cherniavskyi and the Research and Technology Center Space Rocket and space complexes Corporation "Energia" named after Sergei Korolev Igor Hamitsom.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, Boris Zhebrovskiy, Maxim Lutsk and director of Lyceum of Informational Technologies № 79 in Kyiv Anna Lomakovska.
Management of the Ministry and invited guests discussed the development of programs for the "space" lessons and use of advanced space development in the educational process. Thanks to them, students and teachers can conduct research on various subjects (physics, chemistry, geography, biology, etc.), receiving data directly from space.
According to the developers, it will increase pupils' interest in space industry. This project will be implemented within the framework of Ukrainian-Russian cooperation in the sphere of education with the assistance of the international community.
